The other day, my roommate, our friend Dan, and I were hanging out in the lounge. There are two sets of doors that are only used as emergency exits. We had a conversation about when one kid walked out of those doors and the security guards for the dorm came right in. The other two questioned how they knew so quick, so I said my theory about the doors setting off a silent alarm. About ten or so minutes after that conversation was over, a friend of my roommate’s is standing outside the lounge. Rather than do what a normal person would do and leave the lounge through the main lobby and go out that exit, he decides to exit through the doors in the lounge, thus setting off the silent alarm. My friend Dan and I shared a short laugh at my roommate, then I told him that this incident was worthy of a face-palm.
